The thermal conductivity of copper is 1.69 times that of aluminum, so under the same conditions, the pure copper radiator can take the heat away from the heat source faster. However, the quality of copper is a problem. Many of the "pure copper radiators" are not real copper. In the list of copper, those with more than 99% copper content are called acid free copper, and the next grade is Dan copper with less than 85% copper content. At present, the copper content of most pure copper radiators in the 13 year market is between the two. However, the copper content of some inferior pure copper radiators is even less than 85%. Although the cost is very low, its heat conduction capacity is greatly reduced, which affects the heat dissipation. In addition, copper also has obvious disadvantages, such as high cost, difficult processing, too much radiator quality, which hinders the application of all copper radiator; the hardness of red copper is not as good as aluminum alloy al6063, and some mechanical processing (such as grooving) performance is not as good as aluminum; the melting point of copper is much higher than aluminum, which is not conducive to extrusion.
